There was a good reason to celebrate on Wednesday 27 June when Douglas Ryder, a long-standing Barkers Insurance Brokers client, announced that his MTN Qhubeka Pro racing team would be setting up a base in Europe with a view to taking on the Tour De France within the next few years.
The Tour De France is the ultimate cycling race and this will be the first African team to compete in the event. It was a pleasure for Tessa and I to join them for the announcement. We are 100% behind Doug and his team and look forward to his regular news updates.
