Great news Barker clients!
As previously communicated, Barker successfully negotiated a unique LOCKDOWN MOTOR NO CLAIM PREMIUM REFUND for all our qualifying clients. The Barker LOCKDOWN MOTOR NO CLAIM CASH-BACK is unique in that it refunds a percentage of your monthly motor premium as most vehicles are being safely parked at home or the office during the lockdown period and therefore exposed to less risk. *T&C’s apply
We have paid out just over R2-million in Lockdown Motor No Claim Cash-Back Refunds for April 2020. This was an immensely rewarding opportunity for Barker to assist in easing the financial burden that many of our esteemed clients are currently confronted with. Emails and notifications have been sent to over 1 800 of our qualifying clients. Thank you for staying home, being safe, responsibly managing your risk and remaining claim free. #StrongerTogether
A number of Barker clients have charitably expressed interest in donating a portion of their LOCKDOWN PREMIUM REFUND to various good causes. There are many people and charities in need of assistance over these trying times. If you find yourself in the position to contribute, whether it be to donate to a specific fund or charity of your choosing, pay for someone's groceries, make meals for the hungry, donate to animal shelters in need, remember that every gesture, no matter how big or small, can go a long way.
The Solidarity Fund works closely with government and business, but it is independent of both of them. Its beneficiaries are all people living in South Africa and its intention is to unify the nation's citizens in its entirety, fighting these challenging times together as one.
