FAIS, the word that preoccupied our every thought for months as we all geared our minds for the infamous RE Exams. Bombarded by negative media and hype within the industry, not to mention the high failure rate, most looked up and saw a mountain ahead. It was a nail biting task as it required discipline and hard studying on our part whilst a few tweaks had to be made by the FSB themselves.
The aim of FSB with the FAIS exams is to ensure that Financial Service Providers, their Representatives and Key Individuals are equipped to offer advice and are “committed to promote and maintain a sound financial investment environment in South Africa.”
Barker Insurance Brokers took time out to assist us all with intense training to better prepare us for the exams that lay ahead and added with positive motivation we all managed to pass the exams and qualify!
