Friday the 2nd of November, was the day the Red Speedo’s were dusted off and the ego’s thrown out the window. The 4th Annual DaREDevil run, which sees gents of all shapes and sizes take to the streets of Jozi in their Red Speedos and raise money and awareness for Testicular Cancer. This year’s race took place at St Stitians School in Johannesburg to accommodate the great amount of entries received this year. Over 2000 gents sported their Red Speedo’s and undertook what was said to be the toughest 4km run yet.
Kurt Solomon from Etana joked “Local and international experts are trying to figure out how the entire Jozi Route was uphill, yet it started and finished in the same place”
Rhett, Lloyd, Roscoe, Deon, Brad, Luke and Josh joined the 2000 strong to show their support! Over R200 000 was raised for charitable causes. A BIG Congrats to all that participated for having the balls to run for a great cause!
This event keeps growing from strength to strength. If you missed this year’s run, be sure to keep an eye out for next year’s event!
