Michelle matriculated from school in 1998 and went on a gap year in 2003 to play softball in New Zealand.

Since returning to South Africa, she has been working in the insurance industry since 2009.

Happily married to her husband, Simon, they have a wonderful daughter named, Ava. She and her family love the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. She believes there is nothing better than sitting next to a river in the peace and quiet and having to jump up when the rods wriggle. They are also avid cricket and rugby fans.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and Christmas is her favoutite time of year!
